STONE SOUR // Will Drop Into Australia in August

Stone Sour

Iowa’s GRAMMY-nominated crossover rockers Stone Sour, led by Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, is returning to Australia for a headline tour this August.

Taylor and co. will be in Australia supporting the upcoming release of their highly anticipated fifth album, Hydrograd, out 30 June through Roadrunner Records. While on tour, the band will sweep through Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Australian audiences last saw Stone Sour live in 2013 at Soundwave Festival. They also played sideshows with Linkin Park.

Hydrograd was recorded at Sphere Studios in North Hollywood, CA with producer Jay Ruston. The album features latest singles Fabuless and Song #3.  You can watch the video for Fabuless, directed by Paul Brown, below.

Stone Sour are as successful as their boiler-suited alter-egos, selling over four million records worldwide.

Tickets for all shows go on sale at 10am Friday, 19 May.

Telstra Thanks is holding a 48-hour pre-sale just for Telstra customers from 9am Monday, 15 May until 9am Wednesday, 17 May. For more information, visit Telstra Thanks here.
