MOMENTS // PREMIERE—New Video ‘Broken Spirits’

Perth’s rising post-hardcore stars Moments are proud to present their new video Broken Spirits, their first major release since 2015’s Clarity EP.

The video was filmed by Split Mask Media. This release is the first in a two-part concept entitled Broken Spirits, Bitter Truths.

Working again with Clarity EP producer Declan White, the band took a more mature approach to writing the new songs, according to a statement. The band “[tried] to balance the sound they had already established, with new dynamics, to create darker, and more complex songs, both musically and lyrically. The songs detail diverse vocal ranges and techniques by singers Jack & Mitch, and while being heavier, at times diving into the juxtaposition of cleans, producing songs unlike anything the band has produced before.”

The band has spent 2016 playing with some Australian favourites such as Saviour, Void of Vision, and Advocates.

The band will hit the stage at Amplifier Bar in Perth on Saturday 15th July to launch both singles.
