Novocastrian nostalgicore fiends Introvert have today dropped a new single, December, celebrating their signing to Australian label UNFD. Listen below:
The grunge revivalists commented on the signing, saying: “It’s a humbling time for all of us to announce our signing to UNFD and we are extremely proud to begin the next chapter of Introvert along with such a well-established, hardworking and passionate team. The label feels like a big family and we’re really keen to get cracking on our debut album.
“We can’t wait to put out a collection of songs that we really feel reflects the band and ourselves as musicians to a whole legion of new fans. We’re really keen to continue touring to both familiar and new places next year, it’s always been a dream of ours to take our music to as many people as possible around the world and do what we love, so here’s to 2018 as a part of the UNFD family!”
Their debut album will follow up their first EP. This year they opened for rock band Birds of Tokyo. Since then, Introvert have shared stages with Basement, Balance and Composure, AFI, Hellions, and also took a thrilling turn at BIGSOUND 2017. They will also play UNIFY 2018.
