The label heads, Eli Chamravi and David Roy Williams, have announced their launch as well as their very first signing today. The progressive alternative metal four-piece from Melbourne, Circles will release their next album later this year via the new label in Australia and New Zealand and via French label Season of Mist for the rest of the globe.

Eli Chamravi of Wild Thing Records and Wild Thing Presents said, “I’m extremely excited about our first signing Circles, who are on the cusp of something very special with their magical new album to be released later this year. I look forward to signing more artists—local and international, nurturing our world-class progressive scene, and assisting Australian prog bands to reach greater heights.”

Circles are headed out on tour supporting Ne Obliviscaris from this Friday and have today given us the first taste of their upcoming album. The new track, Blueprints for a Great Escape is complex, melodic, and intense, leaving heaps to be expected from the new album.

Guitarist, Ted Furuhashi, said the band is,”Stoked and honoured to be teaming up with Season of Mist and Wild Thing Records. It’s been great vibes all round and we know they’re invested in our music as much as we are. It’s been a while but we’re ready to smash it and show you guys what we’ve been up to!”

Tickets are on sale now at wildthingpresents.com.
