DEAD LETTER CIRCUS // Set To Re-Imagine Debut EP For 10 Year Anniversary Tour

Dead Letter Circus have been around for a bloody long time, and they’re set to celebrate a decade since the release of their debut EP with the Endless Mile ‘Re-imagined Beginnings’ tour.

The self-titled EP catapulted Dead Letter Circus into the consciousness of the Australian public, and fans are still clamouring for the band to play those tracks live. They’re in luck because the band have decided to re-imagine the entire EP and create an entirely new live experience for their dedicated fanbase. It’s due in no small part to the band’s 2014 ReImagined tour, which saw significant success and high fan demand.

The fact that people connected so deeply with our frantic hyper rock to this day still blows my mind
[ KIM BENZIE ]

With three albums under their belt, frontman Kim Benzie still can’t believe how far Dead Letter Success has come. “I still remember pulling over the car yelling and screaming when I heard Disconnect and Apply on triple j for the first time. The fact that people connected so deeply with our frantic hyper rock to this day still blows my mind.” Discussing the tour, Benzie says they couldn’t think of a better way to honour 10 years of recordings. “We thought the most fitting way to honour the 10 year anniversary of the EP and the people in the audience who became our road family, was to completely re-invent and invert the songs in a new studio form, and take them on road to some of our favourite venues. We can’t wait to show you the new versions of the songs.”

The Endless Mile tour will hit Brisbane, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide in March 2017. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, December 14 at deadlettercircus.com for only $35+BF, which is a bargain in our humble opinion. Plus for the dedicated, Dead Letter Circus will be releasing a limited edition recording of the reimagined EP, available at all shows on The Endless Mile.
