AVENGED SEVENFOLD // Go ‘Duffing For Dollars’ in Charity Golf Tournament

M. Shadows and Zacky Vengeance of Avenged Sevenfold are known for their explosive live shows, but will also go down as handy golfers placing 3rd in the Duffing For Dollars Celebrity Golf Tournament, raising funds for MusiCares and Unite the United.

The 8th annual charity day, held on 1 February, was the first to feature a “Pro Duffer” category, which gave all skill levels an opportunity to win the trophy.

Organised by John Reese, Kevin Lyman (VANS Warped Tour) Maureen Valker, Heather Vantress, and Steve Van Doren, the event brought out celebrity and music notables for a day of golfing, spa pampering, food, drinks, auctions, and raffles at the Mission Viejo Country Club in Mission Viejo, California.

The Unite the United Foundation was founded by the producers of the Vans Warped Tour, Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival, Taste of Chaos Festival and It’s Not Dead Festival. Their mission is encouraging fans, artists and industry leaders from the music, touring and action sports worlds to work toward positive change, by supporting local charities and participating in community volunteerism events across the United States.
