ALPHA WOLF // Commit Themselves to ‘Ward of the State’

Alpha Wolf have just dropped their newie Ward Of The State, the killer opening track off their upcoming new album Mono, which hits shelves on 14th July via Greyscale Records.

Alpha Wolf have just come off a tour of Australia supporting Aversions Crown and Boris The Blade and the video for Ward Of The State was shot during the shows by Elliot Sauvage.

“Ward Of The State is a first person realisation and negative experience of foster care. Being taken away from the walls of comfortability and thrown into what was meant to be a “better environment” only to have it destroy your innocence. Everyone has their one place they call home, their safe space and there should never be a reason to have that stripped from you. Your family are the only ones who’ll undoubtedly always truly care for you. Your home is your home,” guitarist Sabian Lynch says of the track.

The band are holding an all ages launch for Mono at Wrangler Studios in Melbourne on  20th July with support from Deadlights, Pridelands, Thornhill and 2319.
