Refract is a track wall to wall with chugging riffs, colossal melodies and syncopated drums. Not only does this make for one textured soundscape, but it also makes it abundantly clear that the band gave their blood, sweat and tears in the recording studio. Synge is a band you really need to get behind. On their debut, they’ve taken everything good about metalcore and wrapped it up in one dynamic package. And what excites us the most about them is the fact they’ve still got so much to offer. Keep an eye on these guys, their future is sure to be bright.
