CUB SPORT // Celebrates Love with New Music Video

Brisbane indie alt-pop group Cub Sport’s music video for Hawaiian Party has been released with the help of YouTube stars Ethan and Grayson Dolan, vibrant with gorgeous colour and a gorgeous message. Watch below:

Cub Sport’s track Hawaiian Party off their 2017 album BATS has a new music video. Released via YouTube stars Ethan and Grayson Dolan YouTube channel yesterday, the dreamy track celebrates love in all forms.

Written and directed by the Dolan Twins, the music video follows three couples and their love stories. Inclusive of the LGBTQ+ community, the clip really captures the love in all its glory.

As Cub Sport are very vocal about their stance on gay marriage an equality, the clip really captures the innocence and the child-like qualities of love, while making very political based commentary on the love is love movement.

Paired with the dreamy vocals and instrumentals of Hawaiian Party, a track that is one for highway driving late at night, the music video is just as dreamy. With a very 1950s inspired wardrobe, the video stays true to a primary colour scheme.

Complimented by great cinematography by Connor Brashier and the wonderful storyline produced by the Dolan Twins, the video has generated a lot of talk and success, hitting charts in Australia, Germany, the U.S. and  the UK.

Achieving over 2 million video views in the first 24 hours of the release of the video, Cub Sport expressed their thanks over twitter.

Starting their tour with Vance Joy today at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Hawaiian Party has been the great start to a wonderful tour. They’ll also be appearing at Falls Festival 2018/19.
