VOIID are a force to be reckoned with, producing killer grunge-fueled punk bangers that would be right at home in Seattle in the 90s. Their newest single, Not for You, is about their experiences as women in 2018, where their appearance is higher judged than their music.

An angry, yet tongue-in-cheek look into the way women are treated in 2018, VOIID are taking aim at harassment and making a great statement in the process.

This anthem for the power of women was produced by Alistair Richardson, and has produced a punk classic.

In addition to the new single, VOIID have also released the video for their last single, Silly Girl. The video was directed by Gold Coast’s own Harley Jones and really stays true to the song’s content and themes.

The video follows the songs story of the Silly Girl—someone who is using their privilege in life to torment others out of some misguided sense of entitlement.

The song was the last single release for the band and features their signature, grunge-inspired sound. VOIID are showing no signs of letting up, after having interest showed from radio shows across the globe and were featured at the Townsville leg of Groovin the Moo.

VOIID are a powerhouse band that will be making big waves in 2018 and showing the world the power of our Aussie girls.

VOIID’s new single Not for You will be available from Friday 25 May.
