SHARPTONE RECORDS NEWS // We Came As Romans, Emmure, Attila

With only a few months left of 2016, most people would assume this is the time to sit back, relax and reflect on the year that’s been. Well not for SharpTone Records or their musical family!

After recently signing to the label, bands We Came As Romans and Emmure have already teased our ear drums with their new singles and mentions of future studio albums.

For Emmure, this will be their 7th full-length album but the first with their new line up! While a line up change can sometimes create an uncertainty around a bands sound, the single Torch has put any doubts to rest.

Meanwhile in the We Came As Romans’ corner, the release of Wasted Age and an upcoming tour with Australian rock group Parkway Drive has sent fans into a frenzy.

Dedicated to all WCAR fans who have been there from the beginning, Wasted Age is an exciting preview into what the bands next album will be like and the direction they are taking.

And while the promise of future albums is always exciting, it’s even more so when you can count down till the release date.

The ever controversial Attila have completed their new album, Chaos, and it’s set to drop in just under a month. Frontman Chris (Fronz) Fronzak explained that during the writing of this album, the group sat down and tried to re-create the music they made at the beginning of their careers.

“We realized the thing we’d stopped doing was getting together and jamming in a basement.” – Fronz, Attila frontman

Amongst the taco bell and Georgia basements, the band reconnected with their younger selves and endeavoured to create an album that would have the raw energy and passion they’d missed.

Chaos will hit the shelves on 4th November 2016, pre-order here.

And finally, who doesn’t love a new comer to the party? In this case, Don Broco have been going a mile a minute and 100% in the right direction.

After supporting the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer and Bring Me The Horizon, the UK based band have embarked on their own headliner tour through Europe. This is a major step for the group, who recently released their album Automatic which hit the UK charts at #6!

Don Broco will join forces again with Bring Me The Horizon in November for their UK Arena Tour. And who knows, maybe next time it’ll be Don Broco hosting the tour?

So while 2016 is nearly done and dusted, as the saying goes, it’s not over until the fat lady sings.
