Praise be to the dark lords of rock, Pagan have finally announced the upcoming release of their highly anticipated debut album Black Wash.

The new album will feature last year’s single Intimate Me among its 11 tracks and the foursome have also dropped the video for the current snarly-gnarly single Death Before Disco

When the fierce Death Before Disco dropped, the sassy group charmed audiences with a packed out event in their hometown of Northcote, dubbed Holy Communion. Punters were asked to dress in white for the event which can be witnessed in the video out today.

The forthcoming debut album Black Wash, fans long teased and tested with hints of its existence, is an experience in 11 songs, or spells in Pagan speak, by four people who have experienced their own Hell together but penetrated its testing flames hand-in-hand.

Together, Pagan pay homage to the darker sides of punk-rock and heavy music in this album, drawing inspiration from neon-soaked dancefloors in Year Of The Dog, and rebelling against nostalgic romanticism in music today with Silver. This album was made to be mean!

Since they began charming audiences in 2015 with their sarcastic tribute to their Italian roots, sassy shows and spicy attitude, Pagan have almost penetrated the film of seriousness, playing coveted spots on UNIFY, Yours & Owls and most recently supporting Rise Against on their Aussie tour back in February.

We’ve been baited by a string of epic single releases and now have only until July 6 to wait for a total blackout of Pagan dominated noise!
