Uncle Al returns! Industrial maniacs Ministry are taking downer rockers Filter to Australia this September.

Industrial metal pioneers Ministry, headed by true rock rebel Al Jourgensen are returning to Australia for the second time in their long and storied career. They’ll be playing five shows starting in Perth and going on to Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from the 25th September to the 1st October.

A statement promises that “the set list gives a nod to their past with Just One Fix, N.W.O, Psalm 69, Stigmata, Thieves, So What as well as their brutal more recent songs Punch in the Face & Lies Lies Lies.”

We remarked of Ministry’s 2015 Soundwave performance as “whacking a dent in our brains […]with full nightmare acid trip visuals, hungover rave victim Al (fuckin’) Jourgensen exposed the rotten core of our bullshit world, its rivers flooded by sleaze. LiesLiesLies contrasts go-go dancers with a beat that would blast the White House to rubble.”

Joining them on their east coast dates is Filter, led by fellow industrial rocker Richard Patrick. Filter will support their latest album Crazy Eyes, along with all their classic tracks.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday 23rd May at 11am. A special pre-sale starts on Monday 22nd May at 9am via Metropolis Touring.
