IRON CHIC // To Release New Album ‘You Can’t Stay Here’

It’s been four years since Iron Chic dropped a new album but today, the Long Island punk-rockers have announced that the wait for new material is nearly over. Next month the highly anticipated fourth studio album You Can’t Stay Here drops on October 13 through SideOneDummy and boy, is it a good ‘un!

The video for the new single My Best Friend (Is A Nihilist), out now, is nothing if not a heap of dark fun. Bleak yet honest and comical, as a hearse careers around a small town and Death personified lingers around members of the band as they go about a mundane routine, Iron Chic finish up this punching video with footage of a live show, frontman Jason Lubrano seemingly singing for his life with the best of Iron Chic energy.

The themes of You Can’t Stay Here are certainly dark, but they’re cast into a light of determined and fierce melody, solidarity in Iron Chic evident after the tumultuous events they’ve experienced in recent years.
