HOCKEY DAD // Announce New Album ‘Blend Inn’ + Video For ‘Homely Feeling’

Riding on the sun-drenched, hazy wave of out of control festival sets and headline show hysterics, Hockey Dad have announced their upcoming album Blend Inn, and have unveiled a nostalgia-tinged video for lead single Homely Feeling.

The album is set for a 9 February drop (Farmer & The Owl via Inertia Music) and will see the band follow up from their 2016 debut Boronia that sent shockwaves of surf-punk and distortion-heavy indie throughout the Australian music scene.

The album is inspired by growth experienced over the last year whilst touring the world, a step into more mature territory from Boronia which saw a focus on the bliss of youth.

“Blend Inn is the part of your head that you want to go to when you’re overseas and wishing you were back home, it’s within ” says Fleming “We’re always just trying to be comfortable and semi blending in, so it’s the name we gave to that place you zone out to.”
