IN HEARTS WAKE // Reveal Huge Australian Headline Tour + New Single

If you want to see Sydney eco-moshers In Hearts Wake this year, you better be first up and dressed like a champion; their just announced July Australian tour will be their first and only for 2017.

The boys have also unleashed a new single, Warcry, as a taste of what they’re working on at the moment. You can stream it below:

Joining them around the country is Japanese mental-rockers Crossfaith making their first appearance in Oz since Soundwave 2015. Other special guests include the UK’s While She Sleeps and Sydney’s very own Polaris. The band will take in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane over six massive days.

In Hearts Wake explained the concept behind Warcry in a statement: “A Warcry is made to rally those for battle or to gather participants together for a campaign. The current systems in place are violently pitting us against each other, propelling our species towards our own extinction. This track is a call to come together, to unite peacefully against the forces that are currently destroying life on Earth and the resources that support it. The time is now.

“The words of the verse are the vision of a Seer, who speaks of a dark and horrific future to come. The chorus defies this nihilistic prophesy outright. We, the New Generation, will not idly sit back and watch the abuse of our world. If we do not take timely action, then we are passively contributing to the Seer’s bleak prediction. Our inaction is part of the problem; let us answer the Warcry and become part of the solution. What kind of a world do you wish for tomorrow–to ensure a tomorrow…”

Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, 7 April at 9am AEST. For more information, click here.
