IN HEARTS WAKE // Announce Fourth Record ‘Ark’ and Sail On New Single ‘Passage’

In Hearts Wake have announced their fourth record entitled Ark, set for release June 2 through UNFD.

With a few keen eyed fans receiving flyers that confirmed the news early, the band officially dropped the details with the record’s driving new single Passage and its accompanying video at 8AM this morning. With a heavy intro reminiscent of their early Divination material, Passage is enough of a throwback to please even debut purists. Those who jumped on the ship in recent months won’t be disappointed either, with In Hearts Wake’s direction of driving choruses still on full course. It follows Warcry as the second single from Ark, with pre-orders available through 24Hundred right now.

The single premiered on Triple J’s ‘Good Nights with Linda Marigliano’ on April 24, with fans immediately predicting a new record after the band posted a teaser on their Facebook page.

Those who purchased the band’s Duality record, released last December, may have cottoned on much earlier too. In Hearts Wake placed the record title in the cover booklet (image below cause it won’t go on the page for some reason?). Keep an eye out for secrets with Ark, as you never know what you may find…
