One of rock ‘n’ rolls’ power couples, Hayley Williams of Paramore and Chad Gilbert of New Found Glory, have announced they’re splitting up.
Hayley and Chad were married last year in February but have been together for almost ten years. A joint statement was posted on their Instagram profiles, announcing the breakup and also asking for privacy during what is no doubt a difficult time.
Although this isn’t an outcome we’re sure anyone would have wanted for the two musicians, they’ve indicated that the split won’t affect the friendship they’ve created during the last decade.
“We also feel it’s important to state that we are going to be okay and in fact, we remain close friends who are good in each other’s eyes.”
As much as we’re all curious to see how this turns out, even more so we wish them both the best of luck.
