A fan of the band claimed to have received a burnt CD in the mail with the title Erase Me, and the web address www.eraseme.io handwritten in black marker.
Upon visiting the address, fans were greeted with the words ERASE ME written in yellow, which, once clicked on began disappearing to reveal a countdown timer, whilst a clip of music played in the background.

When a fan used Shazam to identify the track, the service showed a clip by the name of No Frame and attributed it to Underoath.
Users of the r/Metalcore subreddit noticed the group have deleted all their previous social media content, whilst their website underoath777.com now redirects to the same web address scrawled on the CD.
Whilst Underoath are yet to confirm or deny the rumours, the band do have a history of using alternative marketing campaigns, such as teasing the phrase rebirth is coming alongside a cryptic video across their social media accounts ahead of their reformation in July 2015.
