HARD NOISE: IHSAHN // Add Brisbane and Perth Dates To Tour

Norwegian black metal pioneer Ihsahn has added two more headline shows in Brisbane and Perth on his majestic trek to Terra Australis, with supports Belphegor slated to headline their own Brisbane show.

Ihsahn will be here in May to headline the Direct Underground Festival, a multi-city convocation of black metal darkness and incantation. Now in its second year, joining Ihsahn and Belphegor are Boston’s purveyors of heathen strains Revocation, as well as Diocletian (New Zealand), Wiegedood (Belgium) and Melbourne’s own Encircling Sea.

To cope with demand, Soundworks Touring has also added a special headline show for Austrian death machines Belphegor on the 7th of May at Crowbar.

Ihsahn is one of the leading figures in the black metal movement, having fronted legendary Norwegian black metal band Emperor until their demise and through their recent resurrection. He has also been involved with Thou Shalt Suffer, Peccatum, and Hardingrock.

Tickets for the festival and headline shows are available now.
