HARD NOISE: CRADLE OF FILTH // Shiver Through ‘Heartbreak and Seance’ Video

Suffolk, UK gloom lords Cradle Of Filth have dropped a new minimalist gothic video, for Heartbreak and Seance from upcoming 12th LP Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness Of Decay.

Since signing with Nuclear Blast in 2014, their last two studio albums have unleashed a new, origin-busting sound. This dark and ghoulish video, matched with classic riffs is evident of the band still possessing their authentic undertones but also progressing with an invigorated style.

Speaking about the new album in a statement, lead vocalist Dani Filth says it’s “deeply infused with Victorian gothic horror, and thus the title is a reflection of that”. Further, he says that ‘The Seductiveness Of Decay‘ further cements this attraction to death and the glittering lengthy process of self-annihilation.”

Artist Artūrs Bērziņš has been instrumental behind the new look, bringing a postmodern approach with his influential interpretation of myths. He directed the album’s artwork, photography, and videography.

The album was recorded at Grindstone Studios, Suffolk, UK by long-time collaborator, the “very honourable” Scott Atkins, esq.
