HARD NOISE: AUGUST BURNS RED // Drop ‘Invisible Enemy’ Single Ahead of New Album

August Burns Red are back, albeit in slightly creepy marionette form, with a new video for the single Invisible Enemy. It gives fans a taste of what’s to come from their upcoming album Phantom Anthem which is due out 6th October.

If you are into the creepy puppet thing, then this clip is definitely for you as the video shows off the band as marionettes performing Invisible Enemy. For the diehard fans, you will notice that the clip reimagines some of the scenes from their more iconic clips in every little detail, right down to the clothes they were wearing at the time. It’s a rad idea though, especially as the bar has been set very high for the new release, following the success of Found In Far Away Places in 2015 when they were nominated for a Grammy.

But August Burns Red have always been about aiming beyond their perceived potential and their success to date is proof of that mantra.

To record Phantom Anthem, the band did not want to change their winning formula and again hit the studio with Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland. Judging from the single you are in for a record full of brutal intensity with not much changed about that signature August Burns Red sound.

The album is set to be released on 6th October through Fearless Records and you can grab your pre-order now at iTunes, which will get you Invisible Enemy as the instant track, or over here.
