Australian melodic tech death band Snake Mountain are set to release their latest single and …
Brisbane’s Hammers have well and truly cemented themselves as Australia’s most exciting up and coming swamp rock/metal group, yesterday unveiling third new single, Just Cause. Listen below:
Taken from their forthcoming EP Homeblokes set to drop 22 June, the song is an ode to “a bundy, a pack of darts” and the power of a good old fashioned riff.
Kicking off with a classic sludgy, blues infused guitar attack, anchored by a filthy drum shuffle, frontman Leigh ‘Fish’ Dowling snarls and growls over a fun yet thundering storm. Think of Mastodon at schoolies, and you’ve got the idea of what to expect here.
Following on from previous singles Speak of the Devil, and last years’ slamming riff-fest that was Dead Set, the band is currently firing on all levels creatively that makes them one of the must see acts at this years epic Dead of Winter Festival in Brisbane on July 8th.
Fresh off the back of supporting COG and Dead Letter Circus, the boys have also just announced an east coast run of dates to celebrate their sure-to-be raucous EP over July. Details below.
