In typical Ghost fashion the group have dropped their latest single, Dance Macabre in a unique manner, opting to share the entire track online via a set of star studded Instagram story snippets. The group have enlisted the help of a massive spread of public icons for the posts, turning to musicians, actresses, MMA fighters and pro wrestlers.

Sister Imperator, Chris Jericho, Kirk Hammett, Charlie Benante, Mike Mckenna, Aleister Black, Jessica Pimentel, Chino Moreno, Josh Barnett, Bethany Cosentino, Phil Anselmo, Young Sister Imperator and Matt Shadows can all be seen in the ‘gram posts, jamming along to the track.

In case you happen to miss the posts (or just aren’t with the times), Dance Macabre can also be streamed and downloaded now via Spotify and iTunes. The track is taken from their fourth sacred psalm, Prequelle and follows the release of the lead single, Rats.

The upcoming ten track record is slated for release early next month, dropping on 1st June via Spinefarm/ Loma Vista Recordings / Caroline Australia. In the meantime, it is also available for pre-order through all major music outlets, including iTunes, Google Play and Spotify. All digital pre-orders will now feature a complimentary download of both Rats and Dance Macabre.

Prequelle follows Ghost’s third studio album, Meliora, and its accompanying EP Popestar, which both received critical acclaim, placing high on the Billboard charts. The group are currently on the road in the United States for their Rats on the Road Tour. They are set to continue their world tour through the remainder of the year, carrying on into 2019.
