Euphoric rap-metal

Just like a wedding ceremony, DVSR’S second offering has something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue—Therapy, in a sense, follows tradition.

As is a natural process for DVSR, the band borrow elements from several areas. Rap, hip hop, metal, R ‘n’ B , all gracing some pretty pensive yet boisterous thematic points—the something blue in this case is aggravated melancholy.

If you feel like experiencing something both mind blowing and thought-provoking that keeps a great sound for its duration, Therapy is an album you’re going to love.

As for that something old, there’s kind of a British rude boy grind going on here, coupled with very early Papa Roach and a touch of Linkin Park if they had leaned more heavily into rap, and again, they’ve borrowed a fair bit. And yet, DVSR are something entirely new.

Try not to pull apart their work and the rapid beats and lyrical miracles will easily sweep you away into a harsh yet euphoric rap-metal journey. If you feel like experiencing something both mind blowing and thought-provoking that keeps a great sound for its duration, Therapy is an album you’re going to love.

STANDOUT TRACKS: Slave To The Beat, Endless, Therapy
