DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL AUSTRALIA // 2019 Dates And Venues Announced

Mark your calendars heavy music fans, because Download Festival is coming back to Australia next year with a bigger and better line-up than before.

Last year’s event saw almost 30,000 fans rock out at Flemington Racecourse to huge acts like Korn, Limp Bizkit and Good Charlotte. The festival, which has previously seen success overseas, received such a strong reception in Australia that plans for a return in 2019 were announced just four days after Download 2018 took place.

Next year will see the festival return to Flemington Racecourse, as well as a New South Wales debut at Sydney’s Parramatta Park. If you’re planning on taking the day off work, here are the important details you need to know:

Saturday 9 March – Parramatta Park, Sydney
Monday 11 March (long weekend) – Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne
