Be prepared to have a very rock ‘n’ roll Easter Friday as this week’s BAD Friday festival is even bigger and better than it’s ever been.
The 9th underground annual Marrickville Bloc Party boasts an illustrious line up of Australian punk, indie, psych and alternative bands who have been honing their craft and putting on exuberayting live shows. This year’s acts are coming from every major city around the country and they include Sydney’s hip-hop-psych-soul outfit Boo Seeka, Brisbane’s indie psych-pop extravaganza The Belligerents, Melbourne’s trailblazing hybrid-rocker Ecca Vandal, Adelaide’s 7 piece garage-rock ensemble West Thebarton and Perth’s space-rock jammers Psychedelic Porn Crumpets plus a local secret headliner and Pist Idiots who were a late substitute to the line up alongside many more rad acts!

Bad Friday’s impressive itinerary will be set across two stages with the Secret Headliner and Mezko rounding up the day and just so you can have enough energy for an 8 hour long day party, BAD Friday will be providing a wide variety of delicious food stalls catered by local businesses. You won’t need to worry about going hungry!
During its humble beginnings at the Annandale Hotel back in 2010, Bad Friday was an all-local underground community experience. The event gradually earned its reputation as one of Australia’s all encompassing street music festivals. It was only last year when it moved into the pubs and streets of Marrickville officially becoming an exciting and genuine block party.
