Korn‘s Jonathan Davis was so excited by ORGY that he created his own record label …
If you had told The Amity Affliction a decade ago they’d be played on commercial radio, they probably would have laughed at you.
Today, however, that very thing happened.
Unified Director and CEO Jaddan Comerford took to Instagram, tagging Amity members in a photo of the band being played on active rock station Triple M, part of the national Southern Cross Austereo network.
SCA network has a listenership of over 10 million in Australia, and is one of the biggest radio networks alongside the Macquarie Radio Network (2GB, Nova) and the ABC.
Triple M played All Messed Up (a censored version of All Fucked Up) from latest release This Could Be Heartbreak. All Messed Up is Triple M’s record of the week starting 19th September.
The band have quickly made a name for themselves in and outside of the hardcore/metalcore realm.
This is no doubt thanks to scoring three #1 records on the ARIA Album Charts.
These include Chasing Ghosts, Let The Ocean Take Me and quite recently, This Could Be Heartbreak.
Some ridicule for a commercially spun track may come Amity’s way, but we see this as a huge milestone for the band.
Congratulations lads!
