AFI // Announce First Australian Headline Tour in a Decade

Hysteria Mag, Destroy All Lines, Chugg Entertainment and Triple J’s Short.Fast.Loud are proud to present the return of AFI to Australia this September.

Never ones to rest on their laurels, AFI have changed up the game throughout their 26-year strong career. We said of their latest The Blood Album: “[It’s] a magnificent return to fan-favourite form with sharp, angular punk songs, infused with a nuanced blend of pop melodies, post-punk soundscapes and indie-rock influences.” Singer Davey Havok will also be featuring all week on Hysteria Radio from 6am, 10am and 2pm daily.

Hitting all corners of Australia, AFI are also bringing Basement along for the ride. The UK group were recently in Australia for their sold-out headline tour in 2016, and their latest record Promise Everything scored the coveted Triple J Feature Album. Fresh off tours with Hellions, Balance And Composure as well as a Groovin’ The Moo spot, Triple J Unearthed feature artist Introvert are also set to rip venues apart.
